Casey Owen Ray
Casey Ray has been teaching for two years and practicing Vinyasa, Iyengar and Power Yoga for over four years. He was inspired by the healing gifts Yoga offers and earned his 200 RYT Certificate from the ANANDALAY Yoga Study Program in 2019, at the Center for Yoga, and taught by Ruth Fisk. Casey studies daily, observing/assisting various classes taught by Ruth. He is registered with Yoga Alliance, is a Group Fitness Instructor through ACE, and is certified in the Burdenko Method for water therapy. His classes offer space and creativity, while being mindful of proper alignment.
Yoga for Kids will challenge a child's endless energy and invigorate their creativity with fun movement. Meditation and breathing exercises will be practiced to develop skills they can use for life.
Yoga Power or Yoga for Athletes will enhance the six essential qualities of fitness: Balance, Flexibility, Coordination, Endurance, Speed and Strength. The physical poses, breath exercises and Yoga's metal and spiritual approach, will teach you how to combine the mind, body and spirit to stay focused and calm in challenging or intense life events. Your Yoga powers will serve you well in a variety of activities, from muscle training and marathons to test-taking, work, relationships and more.
